This group is getting a little cold. Then, i decided to turn it up.
What resources (books, tutorials, etc) have you used to start and learn about Cake? -
Yes. I’ve done one already. But it isn’t really good.
I’m starting to read about Spring and J2EE. It may be an option. But it must have a desktop Interface.

I’t simple, easy to learn, very powerful and really great architectured. Have a great community and a lot of plug-ins. Pick up any project you would like to build and try to start it on Cake. You’ll be amazed.
It’s very similar to Ruby on Rails. -

Hey Santiago, heard of Cake several times but never had the time to put an eye on it. What’s special?

Do you wanna develop it with Java?

Have a look at Eclipse RCP. It’s a great starting point for developing rich client software. It uses native interface support so the result will look like a native platform software. It will take some time to get into it but after a while you’ll love it!
